Poll Results
To all Palestinians: if you were given the chance to return to Palestine- back to the exact home from which your grandparents were expelled from- no questions asked: would you??
results from the poll can be seen on the right. given the fact there was ascertain whether or not those voting were indeed palestinian, its safe to say there is room for error. despite this however, it is clear there is in fact a desire to return.
i will be out of town for the next couple of days with limited internet access. while i'm gone, feel free to continue this discussion in the comments section, and i will pop in when i can.

The results are similar to the turnout in the 2006 elections - with the refugees in the Gaza strip elections showing a generally higher turnout:

They would like to go back to their home towns/villages.
I find this question to be disturbing. Why do we ask this question? Is the concern who wants to return and who does not? What is the usefulness of the result? What do you want to prove if the answer is not 100%?.
Notwithstanding this reservation, the result lacks credibility. You do not have control on the identity of the participants.
We must not propogate this poll that implies "compensation" or that "the Palestinians do not have any interest to return to Palestine", if the answer is not 100%.
Otherwise, please accept my sincere appreciation for your efforts and your excellent site. I will present you with Fairouz's song:سنرجع يوماالى حينا
